Where have I been for the past nine months, you ask? On Twitter.
In fact, everybody is asking where I have been, including my husband, my boss, my mother. The answer is the same for all of them: I’ve been staring at Twitter, watching the tweets fly. I don’t contribute much but boy, do I follow: embarrassingly, I’m now following more than 2000 souls. And I have only 35 followers. Ouch.
It’s gotten to the point, in fact, where I need to just STOP. But of course I can’t go cold turkey. What I’ve decided to do is to invest in a Twitter client, a native client, which will allow me to stay out of the browser. Being in the browser staring at Twitter just keeps me on the web rather than in the world, where I need to be. Will using a native client for mac help me? We’re going to find out.
So, give me your hungry, your poor, your pointers to reviews of twitter clients for mac. I’m going to start with the @NLMA podcast on mac twitter clients. I’ll then move to your links.
